Wave7 Optics chosen by Hitachi.(Japan)(leader in the US fiber-to-the-home network equipment market)

Wave 7 Optics announced that it has been chosen by Hitachi as a co-development partner for the new Hitachi AMN1200 family of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network equipment for markets worldwide. The AMN1200 SFU (Single Family Unit), now available, supports the full "triple-play" of video, very-high-speed data, and voice services, and complies with the FSAN (Full Service Access Network consortium) BPON (broadband passive optical network) specification.
