NSW: Light shop caps off midnight fireworks in Sydney

A spectacular light show on the Sydney Harbour Bridge has capped off the midnight fireworks
as Sydney ushered in 2004.

Hundreds of thousands of people crowded the harbour foreshores and filed down George
and Macquarie Streets for the midnight (AEDT) celebrations.

It's a much younger crowd than the early throngs which gathered for the 9pm pyrotechnic display.
