According to the World Bank and the World Economic Forum Chile managed to increase the number of Internet users over the last three years by 472%. This indicator allowed Chile to move up the Global Information Technology ranking designed by the two aforementioned organizations. Chile moved up three slots from 35th to 32nd. Meanwhile Brazil now stands in 39th place, Mexico hold the 44th position and Argentina is 50th.
